Hi, and welcome, to Shiny Pieces of Cardboard, the Yu-Gi-Oh! blog that's just another drop in the proverbial ocean of other yu-gi-oh blogs. My name's Humanomaly and I am the tier 2 player around here. I'll be writing about how to compete without playing a Franklin or Grant in your main deck.

At the time of this posting, the metagame's seeming a bit stiff, because of some some expensive moe demon whore and a critter. Seriously, if you can't afford tour guides, it's going to be hard to play. But, with a little skill and common sense, it's easier to handle, and I have a few deck options that are, to say the least bit, competitively viable. I won't spoil it here, but, they're variations on older decks.

All in all, I hope you have fun reading this blog and take away/give us some good ideas, and we can all have fun in this, because, after all, what's a game without fun?
